Randall Mallard

The folks at Coast Dental, Bloomingdale were so great. I needed a tooth pulled. It was quick and relatively pain free. Justin and the Doc were very professional and compassionate. They're worth the 15 mile drive for such excellence in their quality if care. I highly recommend this practice.

Thomas O'Connor

I had a wonderful experience with my two visits to date. I was given a clear indication of what treatment was required and my level of insurance coverage. Secondly, my initial treatment by Doctor Lee was excellent. She clearly informed me of the procedures required and took great care of me. Highly recommend.

Emergency Dental Services Offered

A dental emergency can come in many forms. A new or worsening toothache that's become unbearable, facial trauma from a sports accident, and more could be the cause of your emergency. Regardless of why you're experiencing such a situation, Dr. Lee-Loy and her team are ready with a variety of services to alleviate your injury and offer the care you require to return you to a healthier life.

Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth - This unfortunate condition can happen when eating or result from an accident. Either way, this should never be ignored. Trauma to teeth can lead to even bigger issues and more discomfort.
  • Loose or broken brackets on braces - Braces are a big commitment and investment, so facing an issue with them can be very worrisome. Leaving a broken or loose bracket alone could undo some of the work that the braces are intended for. Rather than prolonging how long you need them, get your brackets repaired or replaced quickly so that you can have a great-looking smile in no time.
  • Bleeding - If your tongue or gums are bleeding, that's a clear signal that something is amiss. Unexpected oral bleeding shouldn't be ignored. Get an emergency appointment right away so that we can assess the issue and make sure it's taken care of before anything becomes more serious.
  • Dentures - Many people will need or want dentures in their lifetime. We can work hard to maintain our oral health, but it's entirely possible that despite our best efforts, dentures may become a necessity. Dentures are a much more streamlined process than they used to be. Gone are the days of uncomfortable, ugly dentures. Now we have the technology to get a better fit and make your dentures in a color that looks natural.
  • Dental implants - A dental implant is a solution if you've knocked out a tooth that can't be replaced, lost a tooth due to decay, or had a tooth extracted because of its shape. While this process may initially seem daunting, we can alleviate and numb pain with modern anesthetics to perform this procedure with minimal discomfort.
  • Lost crowns or fillings - You may not recognize this has happened until you end up with a toothache. When it's determined that you've lost a crown or filling, you'll need to get it replaced quickly. Damage to teeth may allow infection, which can quickly become severe without the right care. Once we can address any infection incident, we can reseal the tooth, and you can return to your daily life.

Preventative Maintenance For Dental Emergencies

We understand that no matter how hard you try, not every emergency can be prevented. However, if you take the time to brush and floss your teeth each day regularly, you can save yourself much trouble down the line. Regular brushing and flossing keep your teeth and gums healthy and strong, avoiding several different kinds of damage.

Scheduling a regular checkup can help prevent many issues as well. When we get the opportunity to clean your teeth and check for any minor issues, we can help you avoid these becoming larger issues in the future. We aim to help you maintain your oral health and keep the confident smile you deserve.

F.A.Q's

  • Q: Can I pay with a credit card?

A: Not only can you pay with a credit card, but you also have the option to pay with cash or personal check, and we offer financing without interest through CareCredit. We will also accept a wide variety of insurance options.

  • Q: Should I come in if I have something lodged between my teeth?

A: If you've tried rinsing your mouth and gently flossing and whatever you have stuck hasn't come loose, setting up an emergency appointment may be necessary. Not only can this be uncomfortable, but it can also cause more damage to your teeth if left untreated.

  • Q: How long does it take to get an appointment?

A: Depending on the severity of your situation, we can typically get your appointment scheduled within a day or two of you calling our office. Our care team is available 24/7 to take your call.
