Coast Dental is the first non private dental office that I’ve ever used so I didn’t know what to expect at first. After an open an honest discussion followed by several visits, I became quite comfortable with them and I very much appreciate the staff meticulously reviewing the costs of their service and what my insurance would cover. So far, I’m very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them.

I called to make an appointment because I had severe tooth pain unfortunately the call center put me on the schedule for a week out. I took it hopping for the best that someone would cancel in the meantime. About an hour later Jen called from the office and saw my appointment in her email she called right away and had me come in so the Dr. Could examine my tooth. Thank you so much To the Dr for squeezing me in and to Jen for calling me back so fast!!! Hopefully I’m on my way to getting better now!

Emergency Dental Services in Dunedin, FL

Oral health is easy to take for granted until it's suddenly in jeopardy. When an emergency strikes and your teeth, gums, and jaw are experiencing issues, it's normal to be stressed. Visiting your regular dentist might not be an option, as schedules and waiting periods can have you suffering for days. If you live in Dunedin, Florida and have a dental emergency that your regular dentist isn't available to treat, there's still hope. Dr. Mariana Boles and the team at Coast Dental Dunedin can help you repair your smile even on short notice, so call today.

We Help Everyone

If you've ever had a bad experience visiting a new dentist for the first time, it's only natural to worry that you will be unwelcome or out of place at our office. After all, visiting the dentist is more than just about getting your teeth fixed. The atmosphere can be the difference between a comfortable procedure or a painful and stressful few hours, and a bad dental visit will leave you never wanting to go back. When you visit Coast Dental Dunedin and work with Dr. Mariana Boles, you won't have to worry about being treated any differently if you're not a recurring patient. Everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable at the dentist, and we strive to make each visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Emergency Dental Services

A dental emergency can be anything from a bad toothache to a root canal, and the one thing they all have in common is that not getting them treated will just make the situation worse. That's why if you're experiencing a dental emergency in Dunedin, you should visit Dr. Mariana Boles and her team at Coast Dental Dunedin immediately:

  • Jaw Swelling. A swollen jaw can be surprisingly serious. Often caused by bacterial infections, this problem can put the teeth and gums in jeopardy as well, which is why it's so important to get the issue treated. Dr. Mariana Boles will clear out the infection before it gets worse.
  • Toothaches. Whether the pain is coming from decay, injury, or even just from food getting wedged in between your teeth, a toothache is more than just painful. The damage can spread and worsen as time goes on, so ignoring it is not an option. Instead, allow the staff at Coast Dental Dunedin to identify why your tooth is aching and give you the repairs you need to feel better.
  • Gum Pain. Gum pain can be caused by a few things, most commonly bacteria or decay. In any case, if your gums hurt, it won't just be annoying. It can compromise the safety of your teeth, especially if the bacteria or decay begins to spread. Don't let it get worse. Visit Dr. Mariana Boles and have her fix the problem immediately.
  • Tooth Damage. Teeth may not seem like it, but they can be rather fragile. Anything from a bad face injury to a piece of candy that's too hard can leave you with a broken or cracked tooth — and this tooth is going to need to be repaired. At Coast Dental Dunedin, you can rest assured your damaged tooth will be repaired before it gets even worse.
  • Crown and Filling Loss. Losing a crown or a filling happens more often than you might think. If a tooth is decaying or broken, the filling can fall out with it. Meanwhile, if the chosen metal isn't strong enough, it might just come out naturally over time. However it happens, the result is the same — your open tooth cavity is now exposed to damage and bacteria, and you're probably in a lot of pain. We can clean up any bacteria and damage and provide you with a new crown or filling to keep your tooth protected.
  • Tooth Loss. There are a number of ways you might lose a tooth, and each one is painful and dangerous. You might have suffered from decay that made it fall out, a bad injury that gave you a “knockout,” or the dentist may have determined that your tooth is so damaged, having it pulled is the only option. In any case, your tooth should be replaced to avoid further damage to your jaw.
  • Root Canal. A root canal occurs if tooth decay runs so deep that the only option is to drill into the tooth and clean all of it out. This procedure is infamous, but if it's done right, it doesn't have to be something you dread. Dr. Mariana Boles will take your concerns seriously and ensure your root canal is done quickly and comfortably.

Avoiding a Dental Emergency

Dental emergencies aren't always caused by poor dental hygiene, but that doesn't mean practicing proper hygiene can't minimize your risk. By brushing, flossing, eating right, and maintaining contact with your regular dentist, you can keep your mouth healthier for longer.
