Ann Phillips

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had a dental emergency and without even being an established patient , they got me in super fast. Everyone was very kind, caring and professional. Having a really bad experience in the past with a dentist, I was very anxious about having to go. They completely took all of that away. Dr. Moore took his time with me and quickly got to the problem and resolved it.. I will not be going to anyone else but Dr. Moore from here on out.

We've been patients of Dr. Moore for over a decade and continue under his care today. He's an expert in many specialties of his line of work. A truly remarkable man with an equally remarkable and experienced clinical staff. Yes, there can be a trade off when you have such skills in high demand. One that particularly draws attention and comment is his drawn out time with and between his patients. All I can say is that: "touuch time" with him is a premium worth waiting for.

Emergency Dental Services in Columbus, OH

Dental emergencies are, like most other emergencies, unpredictable and potentially dangerous when they happen. They may not seem serious at first, but if not stopped on time, the consequences can become complicated. When you have a dental issue, no matter how small, the best recommendation is to speak to a dentist. But sometimes, your regular dentist doesn't have a spot on their schedule. If this happens, you don't need to allow the issue to grow as you wait for your appointment. Anyone in or around Columbus, Ohio, can get the prompt emergency help of Dr. Timothy Moore.

Regular and New Patients Are Welcome

Many people feel anxiety at the idea of visiting a dental office. For some, it's even worse when they're meeting a dentist for the first time. It's understandable to feel this way when a patient isn't familiar with how a dentist works. But when you're visiting our dental offices, you can feel at ease knowing we do our best to provide the service you need with the compassion and tact you deserve. Every patient is welcome, and our priorities go beyond just fixing your teeth. We want to grow a bond with each one of our patients, and we hope you can trust us to return when you need an emergency service in the future.

Emergency Services Offered in Our Dental Office

Whether you're dealing with a minor toothache or think your tooth might just fall out, all dental issues have the potential to qualify as an emergency because they all have one thing in common: If not handled in a timely manner, then the situation could get complicated. At this point, it could require more dramatic action to resolve. If you have a dental emergency, there's no reason to wait before getting it fixed. Dr. Timothy Moore can assist you with a variety of problems, such as:

  • Crown and Filling Loss: Crowns and fillings aren't meant to come out. They're designed to keep a decaying tooth from decaying any further. They also help you eat and brush your otherwise exposed teeth without pain. When a filling or a crown falls off, it's usually because of continued decay, a facial injury, improper installation, or because the material used wasn't of the best quality. We will correct the damage for you and replace your lost filling or crown to keep your tooth safe.
  • Tooth damage: Teeth are more fragile than they seem and can be broken or damaged relatively easily. Even if the damage seems minimal, the result can be painful and distressing, and it's important to see a dentist if this happens. You might be able to get the tooth repaired, or if it's too damaged, you might need a full replacement.
  • Jaw swelling: Your jaw is the fundamental piece of your entire dental system. If it's damaged, the rest of your mouth is likely to suffer damage as well. In this case, a swollen jaw is usually born from a bacterial infection, and this infection can spread to the surrounding gums and tissue. Before this happens, you should see Dr. Timothy Moore and trust him to help.
  • Toothaches: Whether due to a bad cavity, external damage, or even just some food getting stuck between your teeth, toothaches are both common and distressing, and they don't go away very easily. Our team can determine the cause of your toothache and take the necessary action to fix it.
  • Gum pain: When our gums hurt, it can be for a few reasons, such as a bacterial infection. This pain can make it difficult to eat, brush, and floss, and if it is an infection, then it can spread to other parts of the mouth. Trust us to handle the problem and stop the pain as well.
  • Tooth loss: Teeth are fragile, and so are the gums. Through a bad facial injury or ongoing decay, your teeth can fall out, leaving the empty socket behind. Not only is the loss of the tooth painful, but the damage will need to be taken care of swiftly. We will need to protect the socket from bacteria and further harm. If this happens to you, Dr. Timothy Moore will repair the damage and replace your tooth.
  • Root Canal: Root canals have a bad reputation for being painful. However, this process is often essential to stop decay from making your tooth entirely lost. If you need to go in for a root canal, trust our team to make the process as quick and painless for you as it possibly can be.

Avoiding a Dental Emergency

Even if you know exactly where to go and who to see to handle a dental emergency, it's always better not to have such an emergency in the first place. Not all dental problems can be avoided through good dental hygiene alone, but it never hurts to keep up with your brushing and flossing. You should also make sure you're not eating anything that can damage your enamel. Stay in contact with your regular dentist to make sure all your concerns are addressed ahead of time.
