Walnut Creek Dental is amazing. The facility is very clean and all of the staff were very welcoming and kind. I took my son there for the first time and i was a bit nervous because the dentist can be a little intimidating for children. The technician and Dentist was amazing at making my 4 year old feel very comfortable and turned it into a fun experience. I am certain he will be thrilled to return.

First experience was great. Haven't been to the dentist In a while so they made me Feel very comfortable and explained everything as they were doing it. During the initial exam they told me what I should expect on my next visit and if there were to be any out-of-pocket expenses.

Dennis Beaudry

Excellent service, friendliness, and professional work. Successfully resolved my problem.

Any and All Dental Emergencies Are Welcome

Dental emergencies are unique to each patient and every person will have different symptoms. No matter what your dental emergency may be, our team at Walnut Creek Dental East is here to help. We understand that dental emergencies might take place at any time and we are always available to help.

The most common dental emergencies that many patients experience are:

  • Sensitive teeth. This could be a sign of tooth decay, gum disease, or another issue. If you are experiencing severe sensitivity to hot or cold drinks or foods, please contact Walnut Creek Dental East.
  • Loose teeth. If your tooth feels even slightly loose, visit one of our emergency dentists right away. Loose teeth are not only painful, but they can increase your risk of losing them.
  • Chipped or broken teeth. If you chip a tooth, the entire tooth is at risk of being lost. This can be very uncomfortable, but it will get worse if left untreated.
  • Broken or cracked braces. If your braces break or crack, you will need to visit an emergency dental service as soon as possible. Do not try to fix them yourself - this could cause further damage.
  • Abscessed tooth. An abscessed tooth is a serious infection that can cause tooth loss if left untreated. It requires antibiotics and, in some cases, surgery.
  • Pain with your dentures. If you are experiencing pain with your dentures, please contact our office. This could be a telling sign of an infection or another problem.
  • Trouble eating cold or hot foods. If you are having trouble eating certain types of foods, it could be a sign that you have a dental emergency. You should typically not experience pain when eating, so if you are, please contact our office.
  • Broken cap, crown, or bridge. This could be a sign of decay or another dental emergency. If you are experiencing any issues with your restorative appliances, then you should seek to get them repaired as quickly as possible.

If you are experiencing one of these painful or uncomfortable dental emergencies, please do not hesitate to contact one of our emergency dentists. We will be sure to alleviate your pain and help you get back to your normal life as soon as possible.

Prevent Future Dental Emergencies With These Tips

If you find yourself dealing with a dental emergency, it is important to contact Walnut Creek Dental East as soon as possible. However, if you want to prevent future dental emergencies, then you should consider these tips:

  • Stay on top of brushing your teeth. Brush and floss your teeth regularly to maintain good oral hygiene. This will help to prevent tooth decay and other dental problems.
  • See your dentist regularly. Seeing your dentist every six months for a check-up is essential. If you have any dental problems, then your dentist can catch them early and treat them before they cause serious issues.
  • Avoid sugary snacks. Sugary snacks can cause tooth decay and other dental problems. If you are going to snack, try to choose healthier options like fruits or vegetables.
  • Eat a balanced diet. You should aim to eat more whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Eating the right types of foods can help keep your teeth and gums healthy.
  • Do not smoke. Smoking can increase your risk of tooth loss, gum disease, and many other dental problems. If you want to keep your teeth healthy, then you should quit smoking or avoid starting.
  • Incorporate vitamins into your diet. Vitamins A, B, and C can help keep your teeth strong. You should try to incorporate more of these vitamins into your diet if you are looking to maintain good oral health.
  • Protect your teeth with a trusted mouthguard. If you play contact sports or are otherwise at risk of dental injury, then it is important to protect your teeth with a mouthguard.

By following these tips, you can help prevent dental emergencies from occurring in the future. However, if you do experience a dental emergency, then please call Walnut Creek Dental East right away. We want to be sure your teeth are in the best possible hands.
