Ashley Viramontes

Where to start, it’s been over a year now that I’ve been taking my daughter to this dental office and she has not once complained about having to go to the dentist. Not only have been made it a pleasant experience the transformation of her teeth has been amazing. Since they have done such a great job at treating her, I’ve decided to give them a try and looking forward to my appointment. I’m confident that my experience will be nothing short of great. I’m glad that we came across this dental practice and hope that you enjoy them too.

My first time at this office, and it did not at all disappoint. The entire staff is caring, patient, and overall amazing. One of their staff members in particular, Alec, was very helpful. He broke down the entire dental process very carefully and made sure everything was clear before.

I was a walk in and due to it being and emergency and I was on vacation far away from home they got me in right away. Staff was excellent!!!

Emergency Dental Services in Los Angeles, CA

While most people may not worry about them until they happen, dental emergencies can be scary, painful, and distressing. They won't go away as quickly as you'd like, and in most situations, the only way to properly deal with them is to get professional help before further damage occurs. Emergency dental work is something no one wants to have to go through, but it's a vital part of staying healthy and happy. If you're in need of emergency dental work and your regular dentist is unable to help, then we can assist you. Dr. Olga Karnakova is here to serve the Los Angeles region and fix all manner of critical dental issues.

New and Regular Patients Are Equally Welcome

If you've ever been to a new dental office and have received unethical treatment, you probably fear this could happen again at a new clinic. We believe that everyone deserves the best dental services available, and this includes being treated with an equal amount of respect and care, no matter who you are or how long you've been working with us. To us, dentistry goes beyond fixing teeth; the bond between patient and dentist is just as important, and it's something we strive to cultivate. You can trust Dr. Karnakova to take care of you.

A Variety of Emergency Dental Services

There's no such thing as a dental emergency that can be fixed just by waiting for it to go away. While it might be tempting to mask the pain with an over-the-counter medication, the cause of the problem will still be there, and it will only become more complicated the longer you wait. Your best foot forward in this scenario is to get immediate help from a skilled dental professional. Trust Dr. Olga Karnakova and her team at Cal Dental Group to fix whatever dental emergency you may be suffering from, such as:

  • Aching teeth: Toothaches are caused by a variety of things, ranging from food getting stuck between your teeth to a deep cavity. When a cavity has progressed for long enough, it can give you excruciating pain. Dr. Olga Karnakova will figure out the cause of your toothache and fix it for you.
  • Missing crowns or fillings: When you have a cavity, your tooth is exposed to all kinds of bacteria, so crowns and fillings are meant to protect the tooth from further decay. However, if they fall out, you will likely experience intense pain, and the risk of infection or decay will come back. Our team will protect the damaged area and offer you replacements.
  • Damage to a tooth: Teeth can be damaged in both large and small ways, especially through a blow to the face. Chips and cracks can create more problems down the road, even if the damage seems small at first. It's best to visit a dentist right away to see which repairs are most suitable for your damaged tooth.
  • Pain in your gums: If your gums hurt, the culprit is probably a bacterial infection. Before the infection continues to spread, the team at Cal Dental Group can stop it and the pain that comes along with it.
  • Missing teeth: Sometimes, the result of bad decay or a significant facial injury is spontaneous tooth loss. This is a painful and distressing situation to endure. Not only will the empty socket be exposed to further damage and bacteria, but your bite and smile will be altered as well. Another reason you may lose a tooth is if you have advanced decay. This can render your tooth unable to keep without compromising the rest of your dental health. In this case, your dental professional will assess the area and perform an extraction. Dr. Olga Karnakova can make skillful extractions, repair any damage to the surrounding tissue, and replace the tooth if necessary.
  • Swelling jaw: A swollen jaw is unsettling to experience, and its usual cause is a bacterial infection. These infections can easily affect the surrounding tissue and gums, creating even greater problems for your mouth. Let our team treat the infected area and reduce your swelling.
  • Root canal: This procedure is done when a tooth has severe damage caused by a cavity. Instead of extracting it, a root canal can help you keep the tooth and preserve the structure of your bite. If you need a root canal, trust Dr. Karnakova to keep you comfortable and at ease while performing the procedure.

Avoiding a Dental Emergency

Most patients would prefer to avoid ever having to visit the dentist in the first place, even if they know exactly where to go for help. If you keep your teeth clean and stay in regular contact with your normal dentist, then you can lower your odds of having a dental emergency. Brush and floss regularly, keep an eye on the foods you eat, and call your dental office quickly if you notice anything unusual or painful.

F.A.Q's

  • Q: How much will my appointment cost?

A: The cost of each appointment is measured by the procedures your dentist determines necessary and how much work needs to be done.

  • Q: What if I can't afford my visit?

A: We believe that everyone should have access to the dental treatment they need, so we will help you pay if you can't do it all at once. Ask about our financial aid program and our discount-granting dental plan.

  • Q: Can I tell my regular dentist?

A: Your dentist might need to keep your record updated, so it's important to share with them any procedures you get with other dental professionals. We can take care of all the necessary paperwork for you, so if you need to send the information to your regular dentist, just let us know.

  • Q: Do you perform any other dental procedures?

A: Cal Dental Group offers additional services such as teeth whitening, dental bridges, orthodontics, deep cleaning, dentures, and many others. Ask us about any additional services you may be interested in.
