Harita Bhatt

I had my wisdom tooth extracted yesterday. Doctor and staff were very skillful, intelligent and professional. Dr. Fang was very quick with my surgery and I felt no pain while the extraction was being done. It is the next day after surgery, and still I feel no pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Fang to other people who need any oral procedure completed. Thank you Dr. Fang and Staff!

Guanmin Wu

I am impressed with Dr. Fang’s rapid response for scheduling my wife’s tooth extraction and professionalism in extracting one of her teeth. It took us only one visit to have evaluation and operation done. Great experience!

Would absolutely recommend to friends and family. Accommodating and welcoming staff, ease of scheduling and pre authorizations, and my procedure itself was smooth and virtually painless. Excellent bed side manner. Will use again

Emergency Services Available

Teeth and gums can face damages that require emergency care. This includes grinding, hard biting, decay, or accidental injury. If you are experiencing pain, discomfort, or irregularities in your dental care, we can help. Our services include:

  • Toothache relief. Toothaches are often caused by a larger dental issue. While they may appear to be a minor inconvenience at first, they can soon turn into a persistent problem that affects your day-to-day life. Most patients notice toothaches while experiencing a change in pressure or temperature, often due to eating or drinking.
  • Relief of tender gums. Tender gums can make you feel uncomfortable. This dental concern is often an indication of an issue in the underlying tissues of the gums. Dr. Fang and our team of professionals can help determine the cause of the discomfort, providing permanent relief.
  • Root canal. Sometimes a tooth that received previous dental work can continue to give you trouble. If you've already required repeat fillings or crowns, your doctor may suggest a root canal procedure. This can help improve the condition of the troubled tooth, preventing other dental services such as extractions.
  • Infection risks. An oral infection can cause you to become physically sick. You'll also often experience unpleasant tastes or smells. Infections can also cause swelling along the jaw. If you start to notice any of these signs, it is important to schedule an appointment with us as soon as possible. This allows us to find the source of the infection and ensure it is properly treated.
  • Damaged tooth repair. High contact sports and accidents that involve an impact to the face, jaw, or mouth could result in serious damage to your teeth. An avulsed tooth is often considered one of the most serious. This is when a tooth becomes completely dislodged from the socket. This can result in damage to the socket, blood vessels, and surrounding tissue. Other damage includes breaks, chips, and cracks. Regardless of the severity, it is important to have it examined as soon as possible.
  • Filling or crown replacement. Filling or crowns help to protect teeth that have previously needed repair from further damage. While these are made to last, they can become loose or fall out completely. If your filling or crown feels loose, or if it has fallen out completely, it is vital to have it replaced as soon as possible.
  • Extractions. In some instances, it is necessary to completely remove a tooth. This can be due to severe decay or the risk of infection. Removal can help protect the existing healthy teeth as well as alleviate any pain associated with the damaged tooth.

Preventing Dental Emergencies

Some dental emergencies are unavoidable, especially when accidental damage is involved. However, a good majority of dental emergencies can be prevented. Dental emergencies often take place for patients who don't adhere to regular dentist appointments. Seeing a dentist twice a year provides a clear record of your dental health. This allows your dentist to find irregularities with ease, and they can correct any issues before they reach the level of emergency. You can also prevent most dental emergencies by taking care of your dental health at home. Your teeth and gums can benefit significantly from regular brushing and flossing habits.

If you participate in a high contact sport, you should also consider a dental guard to protect your teeth. This helps to prevent knockouts and other damages that could affect the health of your teeth and gums.
