James Lee

I have been a patient of Dr. Lee for the past 2 years. I have to say I feel very comfortable with and trust her medical judgment and recommendations. She is courteous, friendly and considerate. The office has a beautiful atmosphere and seems to have modern equipment. The best dentist I have ever been to and will definitely come back if i ever need work done again. And will refer to anyone that needs it.

I was lucky to see Dr. Lee. Actually my friend recommended me to go. The office was clean and new. Staffs were friendly to make myself feel comfortable. Above all, her work is tremendously perfect. Surprisingly my current crown looks better than my real teeth. Really appreciate Dr. Lee’s smooth and beautiful work. Now all my family members love to see her regularly. Thank you Dr. Lee!

Dental emergency services we provide

you may have a sudden impact in your mouth or a swelling in your jaw. There are many ways that your dental emergency comes about, and dr. Lee and her care team provide a wide range of dental services to take care of your issue and bring you pain and stress relief.

Some services we provide:

  • Toothache Relief — Often, there are patients who ignored the beginning signs of a toothache, and it's now become unbearable. Because toothaches often result from a larger problem, this can lead to extensive issues for your oral health. The only way you can find instant and long-lasting pain relief is for Dr. Lee to determine the source of your toothache and treat the root of the problem.
  • Jaw Swelling Reduction — The jaw is a support structure for all the bones and tissues that make up your mouth. If this framework becomes infected, it can affect all those parts of your mouth, severely damaging your oral health. Unexplained jaw swelling may be a sign of infection and should be diagnosed and treated soon to prevent the spread of decay.
  • Gum Pain — Serious gum pain may also be a sign of another issue, such as problems deep in your gum tissue. Dr. Lee can give you the pain relief you need. To preserve your oral health, you need a skilled dentist to determine the root of the pain and treat it.
  • Root Canals — Decayed teeth require a root canal to repair the connection between the tooth and its root. Left untreated, severe tooth deterioration could require extraction to protect the rest of your mouth. Tooth decay is a serious issue that should be seen to by a professional and is more likely to impact teeth that have already had crowns and fillings.
  • Avulsed and Damaged Tooth Care — Avulsed teeth, also known as knockout teeth, are typically the result of an impact to your mouth, such as a car accident, sports injury, or other facial trauma. Dr. Lee will be able to examine the damage to the tooth or teeth and see if they can be restored, as well as examine the tooth socket for more extensive damage. Avulsed teeth can be damaged by cracks, breaks, or chips, and each tooth and situation requires a professional examination to determine what steps are needed.
  • Extractions — If tooth decay has been left to develop without treatment, it will likely need extraction. Otherwise, the infection could spread to the remaining teeth and the rest of your mouth, causing a much more severe problem for your oral health and creating further pain.
  • Filling and Crown Repair — Crowns and fillings are needed to prevent further tooth decay and to keep your oral health in good shape. However, despite their custom fit, they can become damaged or loosened. Whether it is the result of time, grinding, or wear-and-tear, if your crown or filling is broken, loose, or fallen out, it's important that you have them repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

Ways You Can Avoid Future Dental Emergencies

You can't plan for every eventuality, and there are some emergencies you can't avoid. However, there are things you can do to prevent some forms of dental emergencies, saving yourself time, stress, and money. Simply by staying on top of a routine of proper dental care by brushing and flossing, you can vastly improve your dental health. This adherence can protect your mouth and prevent emergencies

Also, you should make regular six-month appointments with Smilee Dental. That way, you can receive regular professional cleaning to improve your oral hygiene. This also allows Dr. Lee to examine your oral health for small changes. She can then keep an eye on those issues and treat them before they develop into serious emergencies.
